Set off earlyRoads close from 7 PM, so plan to arrive before then.
Park at Exit 122Free parking, and the only public car park this year.
Hop on the free shuttleShuttle buses start at 4 PM and run between Exit 122 and the festival, in both directions.
Step into the festivalShow your QR code at the entrance, and the night is yours. Enjoy eleven hours of free festival fun from 4 PM to 3 AM.

Coming by car?

Follow the signs to Exit 122 parking. It opens at 10 AM and spaces are first come, first served. Park, then let the free shuttle take you the rest of the way.

Coming by taxi?

Taxis, ride-hailing and private drivers can drop you off at Exit 122 Parking, and everyone in the car still needs to be registered.

You cannot drive to the festival, and there is no roadside parking. Exit 122 is the only place to park.

By car: From 311, take Exit 119, go down Al Shuhada Road, then turn first right onto Al Samil Road towards the parking.

Then the sky takes over

At midnight, everyone looks up together. The RAK NYE Sky Show fills an open horizon with fireworks and drones, moving as one to a soundtrack made for this night. There are no towers to frame it, only sky above the coast, with the mountains beyond. For those minutes, the whole festival shares one view.

At Jais Festival Ground on the waterfront, with the stage, the food, the countdown, and the fireworks and sky show at midnight.

Manar Mall

An earlier display in the city centre, seen from Manar Mall and the Corniche. Good with small children.

Travel light. We’ve got the rest

Food trucks, drinks and seating are all waiting for you, so leave the cool box and the BBQ at home. Bags are checked at entry.

Yes. Add every child to an adult’s registration.

Park at Exit 122. It’s free, and it’s the only public car park this year. Everyone must be registered.

Yes. The shuttle between Exit 122 parking and the festival is free. Shuttle buses start at 4 PM.

Yes. On 31 December, access to Al Marjan Island is by registration only. This applies whether you’re staying, dining or both.

Go straight to the nearest event marshal or the lost child point at the Info Desk (Lost & Found / Children), in the centre of the festival near the Walking Carnival.

Yes. First aid and medical teams are at the festival, with two medical tents: one in the centre of the Festival Zone and one next to the BAR zone.
