Headliner Yves Larock kicks off the brand new year with a banging set. The Swiss DJ is best known for his summer anthem Rise Up, which was a global smash hit when it was released in 2007. Larock's infectious dancehall-infused sound is sure to get the whole beach jumping into 2018.
UAE-based dance duo Hollaphonic are popular for their feel-good sets and iTunes chart-topping hits like I Don't Want It To End. Between the two of them, Greg Stainer and Olly Wood are used to entertaining crowds of tens of thousands, and have earned a loyal fan following.
Al Marjan Island Spectacular Fireworks
New Year’s Eve 2018 will be marked by an extra special display of dazzling pyrotechnics in Ras Al Khaimah. In a one-of-a-kind extravaganza, Al Marjan Island will explode into colour and light as the clock strikes midnight and we welcome in the New Year.
The gala has been devised by world leaders Fireworks by Grucci, the same company behind the record-breaking fireworks spectacle in Dubai in 2014. The fireworks to be used for the Al Marjan Island display have been created using environmentally friendly, organic material such as wood, sulphur and seawater.
Designed to push the boundaries of what has been achieved before, the Al Marjan Island show will be broadcast live on television and via social media. But the best place to watch the show will be the RAK Rise Up! White Party at The Beach.
